The best Indian restaurant in the West Island ! The host and the staff are super nice and hospitable and want to ensure you have the best time. Their Madrasi dishes are amazing and our favorite are the incredible crispy doses! I love the coconut chutney :) We've come here many times and look forward to trying everything on the menu. A perfect venue to come with family and enjoy authentic Indian food.
The best Indian food we've had anywhere. Real homemade family cooking made to order from scratch. Friendly courteous staff with prompt service but you never feel "rushed". Can't say enough good things about this restaurant.
I'm revising my review of this restaurant, I'm now very disappointed in it.
The food is good, however the portions for the butter chicken is now half of what it used to be. They both used to be in the same container size and now it's half (see photos). Of course the price hasn't dropped, just the quantity.
I don't know if I'll return seeing as they are now charging so much for so little.
If you do return to your regular sizes, I may come back
I took my daughter, granddaughter and grandson for lunch. The food was absolutely delicious. The staff are so friendly. It was the first time my grandson ate at an Indian restaurant and he was very impressed. We will definitely be going back after the holidays.
Great place for amazing Indian food. We did a takeaway of their Thali the first time and had a dine-in. Very good experience. We went for Sev Bataka Puri, Plain Dosa, Masala Dosa and Bombay Thali. Everything great!! Just one thing they need to figure out to include - given the name of the restaurant has Bombay in it - is to have Pav Bhaji, Vada Pav, Misal Pav etc.
The service was very good as well. The food came in reasonable time. No issues there.
Plenty of parking outside since it's a shared parking lot with the plaza. Good seating space inside the restaurant.
Definitely recommended!!
Bombay Choupati is a gem among local Indian restaurants. Each dish is crafted from authentic, home-made family recipes, and I've never tried a single dish there that I didn't absoluetly love.
The butter chicken here deserves its own accolades; it's simply unparalleled. I can no longer eat any other butter chicken because nothing comes remotely close to the delicousness of the butter chicken served here.
The food itself is not just fantastic, but also a feast for the eyes. The vibrant colors and appetizing arrangement truly showcase the chef's dedication to making sure every dish is served with perfection. On top of all this, the portion sizes are incredibly generous, making every meal an excellent value for the price.
The ambiance is a blend of warmth and coziness, creating a welcoming haven where you feel at ease the moment you enter. The staff always embodies warmth and hospitality, wearing smiles that make you feel like family. Service is always prompt, adding to the delightful experience.
Every visit leaves me with a contentedness that lingers—the kind that leaves your body feeling nourished and satisfied. I genuinely tend to not eat out at restaurants anymore because of how dissapointing the experiences often are, but this is one place I can always look forward to eating at.
Bombay Choupati isn't just a restaurant; it's an embrace of culinary delight and heartfelt hospitality. An absolute must-visit for anyone seeking an authentic, local Indian dining experience.
Our first visit and will definitely not be our last!
This 28 year old family business makes phenomenal tasting food!!
We ordered Tandoori Naan, Baraka Vada, Basmati Rice, Aloo Gobi and Aloo Baigan. The gentleman said it would only take 10 minutes and he was right; on a Saturday night 5:30pm.
Due to Covid-19 restaurant is take out only.
We were happy to see that the small takeout containers were recyclable and none were styrofoam.
Do not be deceived by the somewhat small appearing plastic containers; each plastic container measures 1.5 cups, which is an ample amount of food!
The inside washroom was extremely clean.
Parking is very plentiful in the plaza parking lot.
They do not offer any delivery but Uber Eats and Skip the Dishes is available.
All the food was absolutely fantastic!! The flavours kept us wanting more and more!!
The eggplant in the Aloo Baigan was very very tasty.
The staff is extremely helpful and friendly and are willing to modify any dish to suit your needs.
We will definitely be returning and recommend this Eatery!
Absolute perfection. We came on a super busy Friday night and received quick and friendly service! The food was just incredible and cooked with love. We will be back over and over again. Highly recommend the vindaloo and butter chicken!
